What is Performathon?
Performathon is a fun and festive marathon day of student recitals to help raise money for the Student Scholarship Fund.
Why?
The BMC awards need-based scholarships to help students who would not otherwise be able to enroll in music lessons, classes and summer programs. Unfortunately, the number of requests we get for help far out-weight the funds we have available. Performathon helps to fill that gap by raising critical funds to help our students.
What can you do?
SPONSOR A STUDENT - Consider sponsoring a student you know, or make a gift directly to the student scholarship fund. Checks can be sent to the BMC or make your Performathon gift on-line. Under "Dedication" you can enter the name of the student you are sponsoring.
JOIN US ON SATURDAY - and enjoy the day as Music School students share their talent to support the student scholarship fund. Enjoy great music, delicious baked goods, purchase plants and used music CDs, and join the 50/50 raffle – all while supporting a good cause!
Thank you!
We are very grateful to all of the students performing recitals and for the support of their family and friends. Every dollar raised will go to students who need assistance. Together we can make a big difference in the lives of many people.
