Music in the Schools
The BMC's Music in the Schools program, works in collaboration with area public and private schools, to offer school children access to enhanced music experiences beyond what is available in their schools.
Each year students are given the opportunity to take part in instrumental instruction in their schools, participate in the Prima Orchestra, and attend a special Children's Concert presented by the Windham Orchestra.
During the 2012-13 academic year, the BMC partners with WSESU to provide two free After-School Music Programs including group violin instruction and a children’s chorus.
