Exceptional for the breadth and quality of its programs, the Brattleboro Music Center has been at the center of music in southern Vermont since 1952.

Each year, the BMC enriches the lives of thousands of children and adults with educational, participation and performance opportunities designed for the diverse musical interests of our community.

The BMC's oldest community ensemble, the Brattleboro Community Chorus is now the Brattleboro Concert Choir. Under the direction of Susan Dedell, the 80-100 voice ensemble performs an exciting and challenging repertoire. Look for their first concert as the Brattleboro Concert Choir in January 2009.

This summer, keep an eye out for the Music For Trains  silver Airstream mobile sound studio.  So Percussion will be recording train stories and sounds to be incorporated into their August performance at the Brattleboro and Bellows Falls train stations and on the train.
