Linking the Visual Arts to Music
Student artwork, with the common theme of “Color”, will be projected as the Orchestra demonstrates the use of color in music. This project is a collaboration between the Windham Orchestra and Arts Council of Windham County during Student Art Month.

Organ Symphony
With remote Organ Transmittal
The Orchestra will perform excerpts from Saint-Saëns’ Third Symphony.  This is a symphony for orchestra, piano and organ, a rare symphonic instrument, that will be transmitted live from the Estey Organ in First Baptist Church on a movie screen!

Each year, as part of the BMC’s Music in the Schools program, hundreds of school-age children are given an opportunity to experience and enjoy a full symphony orchestra with a performance designed especially for them.
