Senior Recital: Stephanie Lequier, flute, with Vladimir Odinokikh, piano

A long-time student of Robin Tinkler Matathias'at the BMC Music School, Stephanie was nominated by Stephen Rice, BUHS Music Director, for the 2010 American High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. After submitting a resume and a recording, Stephanie was notified in December that she had been selected for the Honors Band. Honors Band and Orchestra members will work with guest conductors H. Robert Reynolds and Charles Peltz and present a performance at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, June 26. "We are extremely proud of Stephanie, she has had an amazing music year- The Inaugural Parade, All State and District Festivals, Metropolitan FluteFestival Orchestra, the NFA Convention World Record Performance with James Galway and Carnegie!" said Mary Angus and Bill Lequier, Stephanie's parents.
