"In These Delightful Pleasant Groves" BMC Annual Fundraising Dinner Friday, May 29, 5pm, River Garden, Brattleboro, VT The Brattleboro Music Center invites everyone to “sing in the spring” at its Annual Salute Night Fundraising event on Friday, May 29, 5 pm at the River Garden in Brattleboro, Vermont. This year’s event, named for the classic English Madrigal “In these Delightful Pleasant Groves,” will features madrigals by the high school a capella group Spiralia and a rousing sing-a-long.
Artist Paul Stone, known for his vibrant depictions of the Vermont landscape, has donated his services to create a commissioned painting whose content will be determined by the artist and one lucky raffle winner. Raffle tickets for the Paul Stone commissioned painting, $25 (5 for $100), will be available at the BMC, Vermont Artisans and during the event, with the winner being awarded at the end of the evening.
Guests will also have an opportunity to hunt for a deal at the silent auction featuring many local crafts, products and services; and enjoy catering, with vegetarian and meat dinner options, by The Putney Inn, all while supporting the Brattleboro Music Center.
